The energy supply of manufacturing companies has to change at its core. At Kerith, we build the algorithms and the platform to enable companies to pursue this transition and start acting.
We provide a cloud-platform for major industrial companies, like for example BMW and other similarly sized companies, which enables them to plan their energy transition in detail and make intelligent and data-driven decisions.
One of our customers has, for example, publicly pledged the goal of becoming carbon-neutral by 2050 but does not yet know which technologies (PV, battery, hydrogen, wind) to invest in to what extent and in what year. The problem is not that there are no options, but that there are way too many options with an incredible amount of different combinations.
Currently, these decisions are based on simple excel models that underestimate the complexity or even worse - through gut decisions.
With Kerith the customer builds a detailed digital twin of the energy system of his plants and can then run a mathematical optimization to identify the best possible way to achieve his goals with minimal costs for any future scenario that he is interested in. Contrary to consultancies, if a parameter should change due to unforeseen circumstances (gas price - Ukraine war / no permission to build battery storage due to fire restrictions) a simple parameter change and a click on a button can update the whole company strategy with all interdependencies.
We charge our customers on a license based Software-as-a-Service model.
